The route finishes in Morija, a village started in 1843 and one of the oldest in Lesotho, which is largely unaltered today.

This route passes the historically important Thota ea Moli and the airport, on the way to Morija. The route then takes a fork to the gate of Paradise Pass and the Pitseng River Gorge. The pony trekking facilities at Malealea and the rock pools and cave paintings near the gorge will be highlights of this tour. Peach Blossom Route (177 km)
Hlotse - Teyaneng - Maseru - Matsieng - Morija - Mafeteng

Dinosaurs and Cannibals (172 km)
Mafeteng - Mohale’s Hoek - Moyeni
The road south-east from Mafeteng takes you through a fascinating part of Lesotho, with many historical and prehistoric remains. Mohale’s Hoek is named after Moshoeshoe l’s younger brother, but the original town, Old Hoek, was destroyed in the Gun War. 2km south are the celebrated cannibal caves at Motlejoa, while 7 km north is the petrified forest on Thaba-Tsoeu. Further on, at Masetise and Moyeni, two of the best dinosaur trackways can be examined.
Hidden Treasures of Nature (202 km)
Moyeni - Letsie Lake - Qacha’s Nek
Beyond Moyeni lies some of the most remote and unspoilt country in Lesotho, country which contains the dramatic scenery of the Sebapala Valley, where local farmers have conserved the habitat for the Bearded Vulture, and one of the last important wetlands, the reeded Lake Letsie, a haven for waterfowl. Qacha’s Nek is set in attractive woodland where among the indigenous trees a remarkable stand of seven Giant Redwoods from California were planted over sixty years ago.
