Transport options
Minibuses run from Bloemfontein to Maseru. From Morija or Maseru it is possible to catch a direct bus to the Malealea turn-off, but the only bus to Malealea itself comes from Mafeteng. This bus leaves Malealea at 6a.m, via Motsekuoa to Mafeteng. It returns mid-morning, passing through Motsekuoa around 12 noon and reaching Malealea at around 2.30p.m.
Thus from Morija or Maseru, you must either get to Motsekuoa (with transport heading to Mafeteng) and change there, or get the Ribaneng or Mpharane bus from Maseru which will drop you at the Malealea turn off around noon. These buses continue on to Qaba. Taxis also run from between Motsekuoa and Qaba.
